In Luke 13:1-9 it states how not all bad things happen to bad people. Jesus said “Unless you turn to God, you too will die.” Jesus was told that while the Galileans were worshiping, they were killed by Pilate. Jesus asked “do you think those murdered Galileans were worse sinners than other Galileans?” Because something bad happened to you doesn’t make you a bad person. This reading can relate into real life. For example, a blind person. Are they a bad person or a sinner because they are blind? And that is what the reading is trying to teach us. “Unless you turn to God, you too will die.”
