The passage that I received was Psalm 103:1 – 11, and I found it very interesting. While I may not always connect with many biblical writings, this Psalm was one that really stood out to me and is serving to be very impactful in my life now. I would like to share some phrases that especially stood out to me. To begin I immensely enjoyed the phrase, “GOD makes everything come out right; he puts victims back on their feet”. Through this sentence, I felt a greater sense of gratitude towards God as I am able to more fully understand how he helps us. In addition, this phrase is important to me because I find it very relatable. Every single person in this world can relate to having some sort of problem or issues, whether its an illness/health problem, family/friends issues, or something at work or school- which is why I find it very comforting that God can help me solve whatever I am going through, and make it okay no matter what. Another quote that I found intriguing was, “GOD is sheer mercy and grace; not easily angered, he’s rich in love. He doesn’t endlessly nag and scold, nor hold grudges forever”. I found this piece of the passage extremely reassuring which is why I am appreciative of this particular phrase. The message presented here is one that is important for everyone to hear. Going back to the idea or relatability, everyone has done something that they regret, and we’ve all made mistakes. Mistakes make us human, and I think it’s essential to the healing process to know that God does not blame us for what we have done, and, rather, he is accepting of our downfalls and can lift us up in our weaker moments. Overall, I found this passage to be extremely meaningful as it relays many special messages that are beneficial to the soul. I thoroughly enjoyed spending time reading this excerpt, and I know it is one that I will continue to utilize for many years to come.
